Default Humboldts Black DOG - Blue Dream - Sugar Black Rose - Juan Herer - mixed grow

This is my 2nd grow and decided to try a few different seeds.

Mate of mine and fellow grower can't do a full grow due to family and work commitments so he has veged these for me. Quite a cool idea really as not to many plants in one place if you want a perpetual grow.

Blue Dream 2nd time I have grown these and the current ones are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from my first lot. This lot were bought directly from Humboldt so make of that what you will. These ones are stretchy beyond belief during veg with purple veins running all through the stems. I had to supercrop each plant in half before flowering and then some more again, and again.

Black DOG So far these 2 plants are by far the best lovely compact, bushy and vigorous, great strong stems and branches with great structure they just look fantastic. Stretch a good bit after flip and the under canopy needs the be kept on top of.

Juan Herer (Jack Herer x OG Kush) Only have one of these as a free seed but love the breeding. Didn't start off to well and nearly ditched it, a bit straggly with nothing much about it. Very prone to snapping when super cropped. Realy pleased I gave it a chance though as 2 weeks into flowering she looks great filling out everywhere with no runaway branches nice and even.

Sugar Black Rose And finally SBR. Oh dear what a disaster. At this point I can't say anything good about these plants. Just awful in every way. If they weren't in the scrog I would ditch them.

Changed tactics slightly for this grow. Tried some of the 16 litre fabric grow bags in place of the 15 litre Airpots and love them. Finding them superior to Airpots in every way, won't be going back.

Dropped feed EC to 1.1 - 1.2 and plants are loving it great run off readings and zero burn. All plants looking a great colour. Was feeding at 1.4 last grow and had a few problems, can't believe such a small drop could make such a difference. I have a very low background reading.

Will update occasionally but decided not to do a diary this time as it is not completly my own grow.

TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT

Dropping from 1.4 to 1.1/1.2 is actually quite a big drop, you'll notice that from the smaller amount of nutes needed to make the solution

Black DOG looks like it will be something special. Streets ahead of the rest of them.

Blue Dream stretching beyond belief. They are all a bit that way not sure why.
