Default Moving vegged plants to clay pebbles

Hello good people of the talk

I have yet another question before I perform the act, I learnt ask first the experts before going in head first so here my issue.

While in flower I've been vegging the next strain and I have them in a rockwool cube in a tray of perlite and have maintained to a decent size. I was planning to flood the tray to free up the roots and remove carefully and place into the clays then into the wilma, it's this a good idea? and any tips would be helpful.

Is there a better way to load them in? I was planning to load the clays around the roots get the dips in then fire up.

I also wanted to go straight to flower, is this wise? Or should I break them into veg first then switch once they've got going and recovered from the move?

    Any help would be grateful

    Happy growing

Good question mate, unfortunately being a mud grower I can't answer. But it's always good to bump a thread when it falls off the bottom of the board.

I'm sure the lads will lend advice soon enough.

    No idea tbh
But I don't see any problem with it.
Hardy fuckers these plants plus going from
Perlite to balls is the same thing really.
I'd give a week to let the roots anchor then flip.

    Guys

Just wanted to end the tread for the readers that might end up it the same situ, well I watered the tray and all the roots from 6 clones had made a huge mat a of roots.

I just cut them out in squares roots and all the. Straight in the wilma, within two days they had taken!

It worked well keeping them in them in the perlite but it was grief cutting them out so I think next time I will go for the air prune method for ease.

    Happy growing
