A good find M_C We've been decarbing this way depending on what the oil is for. 110c for 110 mins gives maximum THC levels according to the Dutch Study, not the 60 mins we first thought

    110? I’ve been doing 20!

    And it still annihilates me.

Anyone had a chance to look up that patent in referenced items number 4?

I googled with the words "P. Bhatarah, D. McHattie, A.K. Greenwood, Production of Delta-9- tetrahydrocannabinol, US, Patent WO 2009/133376 A1, 2009".

It's getting a bit late so I am not getting everything out of the patent blurb sheet, but from the article M_C posted, some boffins played with adding a "base" (something alkaline to the rest of us) to e.g. a weed-ISO mixture, and getting the THC to decarb at a lower temperature.

Anyone had a look at that and what are your thoughts?

Granted, the white-coats are looking to get pure THC, and we are not, but I can't help but wonder why would a bunch of white-coats run the research in the UK and apply for a patent (US 8,530,679 B2) across the pond?
