250w HPS strain help
Hello guys,
I'm intrested in your opinion about strong sativas, but also high yielding ones. What would you recommend for first time grower? I'll use 250w MH and 250w HPS. I'm thinking about "Strawberry Cough" or "Amnesia Haze", maybe both. I really like those "happy" strains.
What do you think about my choice? Maybe these strains aren't good for 250watts?

A 250w HPS is good for a max of 2 plants IMHO, however, I'd probably do just the one

Poking my nose in as a newbie, but on my first (current) grow I tried 2 plants of the same strain under a 250w HPS and it was a mistake. There just ain't enough juice to keep two plants happy. Better one humdinger than two so so's IMHO.Originally Posted by M_C

Gday mate welcome, as said already 1 plant would be better. Also Sativas tend to flower longer and can be harder to manage in flower, as a newbie you might want to go with something a bit faster and easier.
