600w hps in a 120x120

hi guys, just started my first indoor. i'm growing with a 600w hps in a 120x120 tent.

i`ve currently got 6 babies in there, but im only going to keep the strong phenos and most likely pull out the not so stronger phenos.

ive got 3 liberty haze and 3 peyote cookies in there from barneys farm.

i was wondering, how many plants is recommended for a 600w hps in a 120x120?

my final pots will be 18 litre.

im looking to grow high quality.

You should always look at your lighting mate, a 600w HPS is good for 6 plants max

I have six plants that have completely taken over my 2.4 x 1.2 tent. I'm still new to this but I don't know how the other guys manage to keep them.under control. Good luck pulling the other plants after you have looked after them it's hard cutting them to harvest lol. You will treat them like kids!

My last grow which is almost finished had four plants in 11 litre pots in the same size tent , was pretty packed to be honest

what strains are you growing? also at what did you week put them into flower?

Barneys farm blue cheese and lsd , 2 weeks as seedlings under CFL , then into 11 litre pots , 4 weeks veg then flip under 600 hps dual spec 👍

4 PLANTS IS PLENTY
6 will just cause you problems, especially in 18litre pots

hi guys.

i've been away for a few days and came back to 1 of my plants experiencing some kind of burn it looks like.

i haven't added any nutrients or really changed the environment at all. the tent has been getting hot... over 30 degrees, its coming to the end of the summer here. i also lowered the lights about 6 days ago.

struggling to find out what could be causing it. any suggestions would be great.
