Well , not entirely bud , they have these high quality ones that blow the cheap chinese garbage out the eater and into space , Platinum led and a few other brands , but run like 1500$/2000$ each , they use them in commercial grows and commercial veggie production , theyll come down in price for sure in a few years .

Most LED panels are not fit for purpose. I dumped a 400w LED from your list of manufacturers above to return back to my 250w HPS. Keep the cheap LEDs for garden floodlights...

Im a bit behind to be fair Trex mainly due to a lack of interest in LED's...My comments are based on the performance I've seen on here with them. Loads of issues folks seem to have with them. I'm sure at some point in the future that an affordable well preforming LED fit for our purposes will hit the market place...I admire the folks who are prepared to give them a go but I remain sceptical on their ability to compare with my good old reliable HPS..

    Regards BL

I was one of those suckers that bought a cheap LED, I know there are supposedly better brands but just can't trust them again until I hear different on here. Can't believe the difference switching to HPS.

BTW sorry forgot about this thread, I sorted my bleaching problem, circulation was the problem as others said. All good now

As you have found out, HPS is king

That said, I have just invested in a new 300w LED panel that I'll be giving a blast next year

What LED did you invest in? (if you don't mind me asking)

The one that I binned off was a Mars II 400w, the one I have just purchased is a Parkasa 300w
