Id go for the vipar or mars 2. But tbh i wouldnt want either. Have you looked at the prakasa cobs, they are a bit more £ for similar true watts but ive seen good resultswith them. There is a fella on ebay selling used 300w versions. He will take offers of £170 + p&p. Ive just bought one as has M_C i believe.

Mars sponsor this site. If you go the Mars route, then have a word with SmokeSara.

You can also get a discount...

At that price, I'd rather stick to hps etc. Cheaper actually.

Out of those I'd go for the second one - the green mars reflector series.

It's got the most wall watts here 400w and has the most penetration.

I personally would never have a mars hydro again that was my first LED had nothing but problems with it. If you do go for it make sure you’ve plenty headroom cause you need to keep them about 3 feet above the plants or you’ll burn them. After a few different LEDs I’m now using a skyline and I love it best LED I’ve had by a long shot
been growing best part of a decade and still learning new things all the time!

I've had great results with my Mars II 400. It's been used almost constantly for 2 years.

I'm only on my first grow but I'm fine at just under 12 inches (so far lol).

OP here's a comparison of 300s Vs reflectors. Much prefer the spectrum of the reflectors.

I’ve seen other people have great results too that’s why I initially bought one but I maybe got a dud I just wouldn’t want to chance it again after having such poor results.
