iPhone help needed please

This is an odd one.

Ive just dropped my iphone 5s and completely broken the screen, I have thctalk open in tapatalk and cannot close it. I have to take the phone to be fixed, so I need to know if I turn the phone off and back on will the app still be open.

If you have the same or similar phone then please could you open a few apps and turn your phone off then back on and see if the apps stay open, if they do I will have to fix it myself which I dont feel confident doing.

Any help or advise is very welcome.

Is there no reset button or sequence for it.?

Since it an iPhone i no wa ya can do. Back over the cnut in ya truck �� an go purchase a samsung hahaha

I can turn it off, but then if i turn it back on it requires a password which I cant input because the screen is dead. If I take it to be fixed I either have to leave it on or give the guy the password so that he can check the camera and stuff works but then he may see thctalk, they are supposed to be professional and not look at your personal shit but I dont wanna take the risk.
