    Default Plant doesn't seem to be growing need advice

    I've got a 450 viparspectra reflective series an 150watt cfl dual spec I've got 2 super skunk and 3 candy cream they are 1 week and 3 days old but still only have first set of leaves they was in a smallish pot so i put them in 7 gallon smart pots(cost a bomb) (I know they are to big but all I have right now) the seeds are in coco professional plug soil and im using canna a and b i fed them first time today (only using half strength as thought it could be to strong for saplings) They are on 18/6 but there starting to get little dots (before i fed them) so i moved the light off abit its at 40 inch can anyone explain why they still have first set of leaves (photos will be posted soon) this is my first grow so go easy

    5 plants with your lighting is a big call....

    1/2 strength means nothing to me. Do you know the EC?

    Have to agree.
    Light won't besuffiecnt for getting 5 plants through flower.

    I didn't see if they're fems or regs because things could still change then.

    Seedlings looking nice though

    Light issue aside as mc an sti said deffo upgrade that gor 5 plants but ever think you cudda stunted then tiny beautifull seedlings by re potting so earlly also photo or autos be helpfull as if autos youve definatly stunted growth with transpotting(as i call it ) ....

    They are fem seeds from seeds man an I was thinking of buying a another side light in the next week or 2

    They do seem abit better this morning tho I think I'm gunna iver get a new light or take 2 plants put any thoights?

    The CFL looks too far away from the plants, and would also perform better if it were horizontal and not vertical. A reflector for the CFL would also help.

    How far would you recommend the cfl from the plant aspie? An I dont have a reflector yet probs going to get 300 watt red cfl and reflector for when they are budding

    A 150w CFL - about 2-3 inches away. Use the back of the hand test by placing the back of your hand underneath the light. If it's not hot on your hand, then it won't be on the plant either.

    Do try to have the CFL horizontal as it will give the plant more light.
