As far as I know, using LED and CFL together is recommended, as long as you keep the temperatures in check so your plants won't get burned. The more light, the better because no kind of lights is perfect.
I have a question, I have a 300 watt led full spectrum, I would like to add a cfl or two in flower stage, 3 plants, so my question is what exactly should I buy?
you can get ''High Output CFL Lights'' they are 150w or 250w and a single bulb, they come in both cool/blue for veg and warm/red for flower
if i remember maxibright make them, i went with a T5 since i only use cfl's in early/mid veg,

CFLs: https://www.epicgardening.com/growing-with-cfls/
