    Default Co2 Bags...pointless or not...?

Surely these Co2 bags are useless in a well set up room.

Let's take a look at this for a moment. U are supposed to sit the bags above the plants as the co2 falls downwards onto them. However the way that the air in your room circulates would prevent the co2 from doing its job as the out take fan would the co2 away before it touches the plants. Also the ocilating fan would mess things up too.
Would a better idea not be to place the bag at the outside the room next to the intake fan? Or does it need heat to activate the bag? Oooorrrr...are they just pointless?

Don't think you'll notice much difference mate. Unless it's a highly professional grow set up your putting together then the gains will be minimal. Plenty more goodies to spend your coin on mate.

Mine worked. Kept my flowering plants from stressing at 30 deg C when we had our UK short lived heatwave. Ill continue to use on my autos and let you know at the end of their cycle.

I think that those co2 bags are pointless
1 if your extraction and intake are really good then it will all get sucked out anyway
2 its just a £30 bag of rotten plants
I use co2 to help with stress from high temps cos my extraction isnt the best
    My co2 costs less than a £1 a week
I use a few 2liter bottles half filled with warm water a bit of yeast and sugar. The yeast either feeds on the sugar or breaks the sugar down, im not sure on the exact science of it but i know it creates co2 when it does what ever it does.
I either release the gas over the plants every day or i have drilled a hole in the lid so it releases slowly.
Little tip dont forget to release the pressure or after a few days the pressure builds up and blows the lid off. spraying stale beer smelling liquid everywhere.
Each bottle last about 2 weeks. When all the gas is gone i replace a some of the water with fresh and a little more sugar and yeast. I will do this once or twice then mix up new.

I hope this helps anyone. I find it works for my set-up and its low budget so doesnt break the bank

unless it's in a sealed room with no extraction additional co2 isn't needed,
