    Default Potting up with pebbles.....possible?

I'd like to move from Coco to clay pebbles. Currently run a v small veg room and then move to my flower room.
Is this possible with pebbles? Hardly ever seen it mentioned here.

Plan is to have 4 in veg, 4 in flower. In flower using a flood and drain prebuilt system. Possibly IWS or Alien.

In veg maybe the IWS Vegitator:

Worried potting up may damage roots or just be a bad idea in pebbles.
    Any thoughts?

What's the reason for wanting to use pebbles?

I use net pots and clay balls. Simple enough.
You'll need pebbles big enough not to fall through?
