Default roots growing through bottom of final pot 16l rhizo

Is it normal that loads of roots are growing out the bottom of my 16l rhizo pots? They are the final pots. And is it okay to leave them like this or will it cause damage to plants?
What should i do? All info appreciated

it's a good sign the final pots have been filled,

usually roots that grow outta the pots ''air prune'' or you can repot or just leave them to prune themselves,
it shouldn't do them any damage,

Thanks for the reply.. was just worried it might affect the plant.. got loads of roots coming out the bottom of all 5 pots and some through the sides. Guess the root network is going well then?

Just means you have done a good job lad.
TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT

If they have root pruned underneath that is fine, if not you need to raise the pots to allow air to pass underneath. Also be sure your leaving no run off in trays as that can cause continuous root growth underneath the pots.

Those pots your using work by pruning the roots. As the roots come through the outside of the pot they come into contact with air causing the roots to stop growing outside of the pot and instead kick out another root inside the coco.

If the base of your pots are sat on the ground in moisture the root pruning technique won't work to its full potential and cause the roots to continue growing underneath. Stick a pic of the pots up let's take a look
