3x 20 would be fine but you can do a 4 pot system comfortably in that space but I would to tell you where to buy other than eBay or Amazon or what size..

veg length is a bit part of 'pot size' also the smaller they are the more you need to water them,
i have finished plants in 11lt and 16lt, the only difference was vegetation length,
the 11lt were vegged for 5/6 weeks the 16lt were 8/9 weeks veg, but again there is a big variation in garden/strains and environment

most would say a bigger pot is always better though,

Are you growing from clone or seed?

Try the bay for 15L airports, they come flat packed so nice and discreet.

Only with what nutes you choose and how often you feed

I grow in Coco and have just changed from 15l airpots to 16l fabric pots. Prefer the fabric pots for my setup.

I do think if you can feed twice per day 15l would be big enough.

Any advantages of fabric over airpot ? Or is it just down to personal preference.

No point in having a pot that is only partly filled with roots, you want to aim for full occupancy without it becoming root bound. Remember once you hit flower the plant concentrates on bud production the roots slow to a snails pace...Root production in air-pots can be extremely prolific especially using root stimulants. I use coco in air-pots, the size I use is determined by the length of veg time I want to use. As a general rule using rooted clones I use 10 litre for a 3 to 4 week veg, 15 litre for a 5 week veg and 20 litre for 6 to 7 week veg...

    Regards BL

    I only have coco experience.

Airpots: Fantastic root movement and development, keep roots off the bottom, nice and sturdy. Last forever. Cons: Dry out like you wouldn't believe, especially if you put a fan under canopy. A nightmare to mid grow flush, water just pours out of the sides once you have put a few gallon through it finds a path. Take up quite a bit of growing height from you, maybe 5" more than fabric. Difficult to store when not in use.

Fabric: Good root movement and development. Will save you 1 litre or more of feed per plant per day in 15 l pots. Nice and squat to save height. Price. They seem to hold water for longer in Coco. Cons: limited life. Not to stable if you have no support for your plants. You defiantly need to lift fabric pots off the floor.

I have a grow going just now using both so will post some pics of root development after I chop.
