Tbh in that space i wud go 10litre airpots.
I use 15s in 1.2 x 1.2. 10litre pots more than enough to fill that space

If you're in coco then start of in a small pot say 1/2 litre that gives you more control over feed/watering rather than having a big pot that take a long time to dry out...You can start off in your final pot size with air-pots though if you're really careful with watering and you dont over do it...The idea behind potting up is that when the roots hit the side of a conventional pot they just spiral round they never grow inward so basicly by potting up you develop a more dense rootball. However air-pots work differently, the roots hit the cones in the pots then get air pruned they never spiral round, this air pruning then causes plant to produce a mass of subsidiary roots right back to the stem which fill up the space...This video explains what Im on about..

Bud do you think roots still grow after flip during stretch? I re-pot into 15l a few days before I flip is this to late?
TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT

Yeah they do mate but a lot slower because the flowering hormones are giving the plant a different set of genetic instructions then when the plant was in its vegetative stage...

Probably one of the most informative, single line replies I have ever read on this site.
