Novice, Returning Five Years Later

Hey all,

I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully be able to share my journey here. Obviously, for the sake of security, I can't let anyone know "IRL" about this endeavor. I'm assuming many of you are in the same position. I chose to join this website instead of Grasscity/Rollitup/etc. because of the emphasis on personal grows and the primary focus being marijuana. Years ago, I had a successful single plant CFL grow with coconut husk medium & Canna nutes. The one plant yielded about 2 ounces. Since then my living situation has become more comfortable and my income has increased. Yay!

I've always found growing to be a fun hobby and I've grown tired of the monthly visit to the dealer's house. I also think I can grow better than the dealer provides anyway. I just pulled the trigger today and went to the local hydro shop and here's what I came away with:

2x4 Gorilla Lite Tent
600 watt HPS & MH w/ ballast and reflector
6" inline fan
2 bags of FF Ocean Forest
Fox Farm nutrient trio
PH kit & some other small accessories

Total was $750 out the door. I'm ready to order seeds now and am probably going to go with Attitude Seed Bank. I tend to prefer Indica dominant strains. But I'd like to have a Sativa for variety. I'm drawn to Cannabis Cup winners like Tangerine Dream and Pineapple Chunk because they have awesome names. But I also love the classics like Northern Lights, Sour Diesel, AK-47 and Skunk #1. Blue Cheese looks awesome too. So many choices.

Anyways, just trying to get my posts up so I can move on to the grow journal section!

it's a lot of money but what you get after curing would put any streetweed to shame
