600w hps 6" extraction. The tent would be easier to maintain everything unless you can build your box air tight and just use intake for fresh air.

Air tight box is the plan mate, currently looking at various materials ie Kingspan, chipboard, upvc door panels etc.
    Let's get it on!

That brown plywood used for casting concrete is ya best bet. You know the shit workers throw up on the side of their flat beds... It's strong as fuck, moisture and heat resistant. You'll still need a frame and insulation (expanding foam between the boards would also help reduce noise levels)

3x2 timbers to make stud frames lined with plasterboard all plasterboard sheets sealed to stud frame with silicone and rock wool insulation. Stay away from kingspan after certain tower block fire and don’t use anything that’s stiff or compressed to reduce noise levels as noise travels as vibrations so you want loose fibers to soak up that vibration like rock wool and definitely a 600hps . Plasterboard is fire retardant and two layers of 9mm will give you almost one hour fire rated walls
