Hps/mh v dual spectrum

I assume a dual spectrum bulb emits a fuller spectrum all the time veg and flowering light.
Is this a better light for veg and flower stage rather than a separate Mh and HPS bulb.
Also being dual spectrum does that mean ..for instance a 600w in real terms would emit less than 600w red/flower light because of its fuller spectrum.

I’ve used them all and don’t really see much of a difference. I just stick with dual spec.

I am convinced MH/HPS is better especially MH for veg.

growing is a 'business' the more items you buy the better for the shops profit,
shops tell you 'replace your bulb every 6/9 months' anyone that's grown knows that just pure crap,

telling people you need mh for grow, duel for early flower, late flower a finishing bulb, whereas you don't really need them all,
if you wanna buy them all to boost weight that's fair play 2u,

Dual spec bulbs are a lot cheaper than buying MH and HPS bulbs and I believe you cannot dim a MH bulb..? Can a dual spec bulb be dimmed ?

you certainly can dim MH

yea you can dim a duel and hps, but not mh,
if you get a good duel spectrum bulb it will do just fine for the entire grow, if you also wanna buy mh/hps/finishing bulb that's fine,

You can dim MH but its not recommended.
Hps yea to a certain degree i wudnt go diming down a 1000w bulb to say 250w.

I prefer MH for veg. Hps for flower. But tell a lie am runin dual spec at min for flower. I got to many bulbs tbh lol
