    Default EC for CoCo

Hello all I dropped my ec from 1.4 to 1.2 -1.3 more ore less throughout the grow as soon as the seedlings are up a bit. My tap water is very soft.

I add the supplements then make it up with Canna A/B.

Plants look Ok with no nute burn. Should I up the ec during flower as I seem to be getting airy buds (but nice leaf colour and health).

Run off is usually a bit less than whats going in between 0.8 and 1.2, occasionally it has went up to 1.8

Yes I know it is strain dependent but as a rule of thumb would be great until I get more experience.

CoCo run to waste, flushing maybe every 3 weeks.

Only increase the feed, if the plant asks for it.

Once you’ve nailed the feed, there’s no need to flush aside from before harvest.

I do but that’s only because I change from one pk booster to another at around the half way point.

Unless you’re doing something similar or encountering problems then you don’t need to flush until harvest time.

As a rough guide early veg 0.6-0.8, late veg 1.0-1.1, flower 1.2-1.4 Ive never had to exceed these numbers and also don't bother with a mid flower flush unless it's needed. But as Elias has said it's all about reading your plants.

If your plants are looking like you say toblue. I would be looking at another reason for the airy buds rather than just EC it could a number things causing it rather than just one.
