What's it like to touch dry and crispy or still moist
Only ask as I've seen other people with rot that looks similar 😕

I agree this looks like rot but could also be bleaching. Does the bud smell sour/mouldy?
Could you get any better pictures for us
does have the grot look to it for sure. but better pics are needed like blue said.
what light/ reflector you been using and how close was it?
As sure as god put little green apples on trees...that's rot. Get the affected buds chopped and check the rest. If you're unsure about the rest then just chop now and salvage what you can because if it takes complete hold, you'll lose your whole crop. It's bollocks I know but you don't want nowt to show for all your hard work.

Don't know if these pics are any better, i'm using a 600W HPS with dutch barn reflector, the tall plant is about 10'' to 12'' lower than the bulb but i have it moved right to the side with a fan constantly blowing on the buds, the buds don't feel particularly hard but are a little dry and crispy, the humidity has very rarely been over the 55% mark and mostly around 45%,

Pinch that top burnt looking bud off and brake it open. Should be green inside, if any other color like black, might be mold. JMO, O, and 10" sounds a little close for a 600 Water.

It’s Bud rot in it’s dry form, from the look of it( haven’t got my glasses on)Botrytis isn’t always mushy, it can also manifest as dry mould. Always remember that Botrytis starts in/on the stems, I’d chop now.
Peace

If this is the only affected area in the tent. Turn off your circulation fans for a moment, place a bag over the effected area and cut at the nearest non effected spot. (The bags to prevent further spores spreading whilst handling)
Somewhere here should do
Leave the rest to finish the flush providing you are 100% sure there is no more in there. But keep a very close eye on it.
