    Exclamation confused about flushing

its my first grow and im about 8 days away from harvesting, ive read loads of sources and some are saying theres no point in flushing and unflushed buds are betters and some people are saying flushed buds taste smoother and you should flush them, should i flush or not? i just fed them with nutes today too. Should i flush or not?

Depends how your growing mate if it's an organic grow it's not essential to flush but most people do, if your growing using chemical feeds then a flush is definitely needed

I'm gonna try my hand at answering this. You should flush about a week prior to harvest. So the plant has a chance to fully absorb the clean water and then dry out a bit before the chop. I would recommend on your next watering to flush thoroughly and then harvest after the plant has had a chance to dry out a bit. You want as much of the built up nutrient salts in the grow medium to be "flushed" out so the buds don't taste like fertilizer.

To my knowledge, a proper flush should be at least as much water as the size of your pot. So if you're in a 5 gallon pot, flush at least 5 gallons of water through it.

Take it to your bathtub. You can flush everything out in one setting, then just put back and let dry before harvest. JMO

I've seen your other thread and see your growing organically and I have never gave mine a full on flush there is no need imo just feed them plain water with run off like you normally would for a week or 2 and you will be good

Organic soil , with organic or chemical nutes ?

I never flush , i use only 100% organic nutrients , but go on a 7day water only regime .
