Red face Low temp at lights out. Possible problems?

Hi, I'm just at the end of week 6 flower. My tent is in an outbuilding and it's getting pretty cold out there now. For some reason I started my lights on at 12pm and out from 12am. It was 6.7c in there when the lights switched on today. No problem with the lights on in the day, between 26 to 29c. Will this effect yields and can I switch the times now to minimize the ambient temperate difference... thank you so much.

Yes switch your hours around to suit the temperature. 6.7c ain't good at all. I assume your humidity is extremely high with that also?

when the plants temperature drops below 12c they go into shock,
this will stop them producing 'thc' also the water retains less oxygen, they won't uptake nutrients, etc etc

run the lights at night because 6.7c is very very cold for a tropical plant,

Yes your absolutely correct mate. The humidity is just above 70 percent. They are due to go off soon after 12 hours, should I just then leave them on for another 12 and adjust the time then. I'm just saying will another 12 hours light change anything. Thanks.

Make sure you have plenty of air movement as bud rot will be an issue with humidity that high. Hopefully when you switch the times around the Rh will improve.

For changing the light times I'd let the current light cycle turn off then leave them in darkness until the time you'd like them back on again. Restarting the 12/12

That's great thanks, I will do exactly that. I do have some mould on the main stem at the bottom of one of the plants. But as you just said, the main concern now is mould on the buds. I know when mould starts appearing I could be in big trouble. It would be a shame with just 2 weeks to go. I've decided, tent indoors for the next grow or at least for the winter. Lower costs as I have an 80w tube heater and heat mat switching on in the lights out. But, still not enough for the UK winter.

I would put a small 400 rad heater in the flower room, to reduce the humidty and keep the girls happy as you only have a couple of weeks left

Even if you switch your hours round you're still gonna have a drastic temp drop and rh spike at lights out cos ambient day temps in uk now are getting down to single figures so its still a big drop from your 26-29 lights on overnight to single figure uk day temps. You need a heater for lights out!

Don't hesitate getting a radiator fella
I let my humidity rise to 65 just for a day or two and bud rot bit me in the ass
Managed to save some of the crop but 3 months growing was nearly lost for just a few days of taking my eye off the ball
    All the best matey

Can you wrap bubble wrap and paper around the pots? (as well as underneath)
