    Default Carbon filter help negative pressure

    Ok just just set up rvk 4inch fan and filter im using a 4inch fan at the bottom to bring outside the tent fresh air in
    I also have a clip on fan inside the tent shut on port holes and vents at the bottom and the tents budging out so that's positive pressure what am I doing wrong please help tent size is 32in by 32in 63in fan blowing away from carbon filter not in it

    It sounds like you need to slow the intake fan down a little, a fan speed controller can do that for you

    Or, switch to passive if temps allow. I never have an active intake

    What is a passive intake sorry guys haha mc if I turn the intake off I don't get negative pressure

    I'm guessing if I can't achieve negative pressure it will smell

    Passive just mean no fans for intake

    Are you sure the fan is sucking through the filter? Is the RVK connected directly to the filter or how far from the filter is the fan? Any bends in the duct? What filter do you have?

    It's not positive pressure anymore tent just looks normal

    It's a buddy's filter and filter and rvk fan connected together no ducting Inbetween then ducting from rvk fan out top port very slight curve can feel the air coming out of the ducting air blown out the ducting to a near by window just slightly open at the mintue

    If I don't have an online fan at the bottom air port still no negative pressure
