6 Weeks Into Veg
Hello
I'm almost 6 weeks into veg and my leaves have become quite droopy and turning yellow.
I am using Miracle Gro soil and as of yet added no more nutrients. I am using one 2 one seeds.
This is my set up
Secret Jardin HS80
Euro with Maxibright Compact & 400W Sunmaster Lamp
Maxiswitch 2-Way Light Controller (10A) With Grasslin Timer
RUCK Fan & Rhino Pro Filter With Standard Ducting - 5 inch (365m3)
One plant is alot bushier than the other.
The bushier one has droopy leaves, the bottom set of leaves have fallen off after turning yellow. I'm more concerned now as one of the upper leaves has starting turning yellow.
The smaller plant isn't droopy but some of the ends of the leaves are beginning to crisp up
Can anyone tell me what's up? I possibly have been underwatering them so have just given them a good soaking. Temps in day vary between 21-25 and lights off 15-18
Would really appreciate any help - I was hoping to flip within the next week or so?
Cheers
Dan

Miracle grow curse??? This is good for flowers n shit but not canna buddy. But all you can do is let the plants deplete the nutes in the soil. Droopy leaves can be just after lights on, they droop in dark, or over watering / underwatering / irregular watering. Dont look too bad tho mate. It might be a light issue leafs dropping, when plants are not getting enough down below, they drop them.

Hey Smoby, thanks for your reply
Yeah I have now heard of this curse! Will remember for next time.
I have only just started encountering this problem though. Do you think they look ready/big enough to now flip my lighting schedule?

Thanks Hotshot - do I need to feed them some nutrients? What would you recommend?

Do you know i think Hotshot may be right, could you pot them up into suitable compost for a few weeks, then flip and after about a week start feeding.
Whats all the wet crap on them? I would stop that buddy and just let em be unless it was a case of treatment i leave moisture off my leaves

Thanks for your replies, the plant is looking less droopy after a good water. All the wet on the leaves was just from where I had watered.
I am stuck with using this Miracle Gro soil for now and I will try and get through it.
I have done alot of research on the topic now on the forum. Wondering if I need to feed it some nutes? Or flush it first
Really wanted to flip this weekend.. any more advice would be great

They're REALLY small for 6 weeks veg under a 400w and don't look happy at all I would hold off from flipping bro. Let's get them looking perkier like some fake tits before we put them into flower. If they ain't healthy in veg they're gonna be really shit or even worst dead in flower.
Let's turn this around and then get you a diary up and running so we can help you throughout the grow bro.
Them pots look small as it is and not filled right to the top so I suspect root bound maybe?
What size are your pots?
How often are you watering them?
Get some more pics up of plant AND pot so we can scale it.

Cheers Nappa, needed a message like that.
This has been a lot harder than I thought and is actually my 3rd attempt as I have had major issues with temps (growing in the loft)
I am currrently using a 250watt lamp. I think they are small due to the heat issues I was having. They are 11 litre pots and looking back I have no idea why I didn't fill them to the top.
I water every 4-5 days but I do spray the top of the soil every day to help increase humidity with lights on which is around 30 %
I will get some more pictures up tomorrow and probably should start a diary.
I have a feeling this is gonna be a tough couple of months
