    Kilner jars aint cheap that's why I am trying to work out what I need so I can shop around.

    You can use any glass jar that has a lid. I've used Mayo jars before.

    Yeah guess so but I don't really buy anything out of a bottle or jar so don't have any.

    I have a couple 1l jars that I already use but not enough for harvest, they're just to store my street weed

    could you use those big plastic sealable boxes and burp them reglarly ?
    other option would be to ask local chippy for those massive pickled onion and pickled egg jars as theyre usually thrown away .... i bet they would hold a fair ammount ahhh ?

    I use standard Ball canning jars. 1/2 gallon size. And, I put about one ounce into each jar. That usually fills it up about half way.

    I used to use the 1 quart jars but I like to have a little room so they don't all clump together so I switched to the 1/2 gallon jars.

    This is after they are trimmed and dried for about a week. Then, I burp the jars daily for a few weeks or until I'm happy they are dry. I also use a hygrometer in each jar to keep track of humidity in the jar. I try to keep it between 60% and 65%Rh.
