personally i don't do it, but some people talk to them, play them music so naming isn't that odd,

No names for me, just sb, ba, og, or the initials of who they are, and maybe a # following if i want to keep track of a strain and clone it.

When I got a grow on the go mate they get more attention the the kids man name them all kiss them stroke them talk to them so the answer to your question is yes you are fuking nuts like the rest of us
