Air conditioning unit

I know its not the time of year here in the UK for air conditioning units but I want to get clued up on them so in spring time I can grab one. I have 2 1m tents, but I want to be able to control the environment easily in the heat. Does standard air conditoning units from b&q, maplins work well? I was looking on growell but I dont have a big set up so the oe on there would be no good to me.

i bought one for summer just gone, would have to get back to you on size, but i got it from place called appliance direct real good deals on there an it came in real handy during the summer mon, safe to say its all packed up at min though lol
