    Default vertical leaves

Hi guys, couple of queries if you don't mind, first of all i have 4 girls in veg under a 600W MH 3 White Widow Extreme and an Original amnesia, now the WWEs are very bushy with huge fan leaves and are growing normally but the OAs leaves are growing just about upright and vertical my son says he has had plants that have grown like this and he feels it may affect the colas later when in flower, being only my second grow i don't have a clue, any suggestions guys,

Secondly the 3 Widows have huge fan leave which are shading the under plants, could i start removing these leaves a few at a time over a period of a week or two or are they best left well alone, cheers in anticipation guys, G'.

Fan leaves supply your plants, there like solar panels, in veg it isn't a real problem,
lots do remove fan leaves and lower growth,

some defoliate heavily, others only remove the lowest growth, others lollipop there plants,
it's all very subjective mate, if you do remove growth it's best not to do it all at once though,

my big fan leaves, there easily the size of dinner plates, i didn't remove them, some might have lol

i cant see your top images but do you mean they are kinda cupping? like they are making a bowl with the leaves to catch moisture?

and fan leaves is abit of hit and miss,
some guys dont remove, some guys go all edward scissor hands and strip it to bits, and some take a little but not too much, unless scrogging of coarse.

i tend to only take the large fan leaves out of the way on a heavy indica where they are too big and shading too much , and i take the lower ones all of the time
as shown in my diary so far

someone asked me to look at his plants before and i went around to see,
i was shocked when i walked inside,
week 6 flower and he removed all of the leaves apart from the actual sugar leaf by the bud.
    they were also stick thin.
he said he did it so all the energy went into growing the bud

barely any leaf at all, i didnt know if i should cry or laugh my balls off.
it was just like bud on a stick.
    nothing to it.
he ended up with less than an ounce per plant in coco
if i help drop a THANKS its free

Cheers dr g, i'm still very much a novice on my second grow but wow i would never take off all the leaves they are what makes the girls grow, as i said before the widows are growing well but the original amnesia well their leaves seem to be pointing up to the light, put more pics up, maybe it's just the strain and nothing to worry about, thanks for the advice my friend, G'.
