Default Answered: Which deficiency and what to do?

    Hi,

this is my first grow and I made the mistake and started using filtered water few weeks ago and started having yellow leaves not only the older leaves mostly the leaves in the middle and the new leaves looking washed out and Im not sure what to do (Epson salt?) I would like to know for sure before trying to fix the problem.

    My Setup:

    Homebox ambient q80
    Strain skunk #1
    200w 4x cree 3950 Led
Compo sana fertilized soil for 12 weeks
    2,3(9L) gallon pots
    Seaweed Extract
    ph: 6.5-7.0
    Ec: 320ppm filtered water 192ppm

I water the plants when the pots gets very light and the soil is dry so every 48-72 hours.

I would really appreciate some advice. Today is flowering day 7

Cal mag and Epsom salts folia drench.

    Switch off your lights.

1ml cal mag , half tsp Epsom salts in luke warm 1 ltr of water. Shake like fuck and completely drench both side of all leaves with your spray bottle.

Once sprayed leave to dry for an hour and switch the lights back on. Make sure they are dry tho, you don't want to burn them.😉

It's more common to get cal def rather than mag def. You will need the cal mag more than the Epsom salts.

The Epsom salts are used to make the calcium more available to the plant. Some people don't use Epsom salts as the mag is already in the cal/mag.

I always use Epsom salts aswell because it speeds up the treatment.

I know it's Christmas day today but tomorrow I would go to my nearest garden centre.

Most places will do a brand called vita link.
You can use that with no issue.

As BG said, the leaves won't recover so snip off the most damaged ones and it will be easier to see if it's still spreading.

    Hope this helps mate
