Wilma modding topup??

I wana do the big wima xl and mod it with air pots and big holes...

I don't use air stones I hate them I flume ...
My question is when roots fill the Wilma ..they theme up water space so do I need a topup rez joined to it ?

How often can you visit your grow space buddy?
If its not very often then you can attach a top up tank to it with a float somehow but if you can visit often it would be OK to have a fresh rez ready that you can pump/bucket into your system
Depending on size of arpots and how long you veg for then the roots might not take as much space as you think, or was you planning on vegging long And getting a huge root mass?

3 week veg from rooted cuts... And flip 11 weeks
I visit my space every 3 days . just worried roots clog me pumps and wit tat much mass surely will be no water volume ??

I mean my 140litre tank gets filled with a square root mass then I'm only gone be using like 40 litres water n if they drink they a day its kinda wrekd lol

So yeah I'd use a topup system but do I need a rez joined onto the Wilma to hold more water and pump from ?? Surely this would block at times tho

personally i wouldnt chance it it mate especially in flower when they are much bigger
3 days is along time away and can cause issues nearer the end of the grow
anything gets blocked or fails then you loose all the girls
