Default 8 Ball Kush - new grow is ON

After the disappointing end to the last grow (mainlined Critical Cure which hermied), the next grow is on.

I've made some subtle changes that should sort the previous problems but as there are several changes, I'll never be sure which made the difference, but whatevs - this time we're bringing the stress on her down.

So what have we got coming up?

    8 Ball Kush (Barney's) - 100% Indica so short.
    Tent is 50x50x100cm.
Light is a 300w Bestva UFO plus additional clip on LEDs for a bit of extra low down oomph.
Plant Magic Plus soil with a little additional perlite.

    The changes this time are:

    1. An additional clip-on fan to increase airflow further.
    2. Plant !t 17L canvas dirt pot.
    3. active air intake because...
    4. the intake ducting is now enclosed in a light-proof box (I'm convinced a light leak was the reason for the herm and this is where it probably occured) Test temps rose significantly as a result of the box being in place on a passive duct so I have added an intake fan to draw in fresh air.
    5. I'm not going to top or mainline her. Again, I have no idea if this was too stressful in the last grow but my gut-feeling is that it was. I'm going to LST her to the side of the pot with safety pins and pipecleaners.
    6. Going to attempt to get through 4 weeks or so of veg withing adding nutes. (so no switching nutes half way through - OT Bloom when needed)

Nothing fancy in terms of germination. Pencil 2cm deep, seed in, cover and water.

She was planted on the 31st December and popped her head out yesterday (4th Jan)

So for those that would like to see my next hermie or perhaps you're more interested in smut and innuendo, tag along.

    Pics to follow.

I said 'head' and 'deep' in the previous post.

    Off to a flier.

    That's made matters far worse.

"Poodles don't all live in 1966.", he told me to tell you.

I do, but that's another story.

I'll sub up, but I'm not getting involved in this Kevin Keegan, doggy hair cut stuff.

I'll leave that to MC and the aggy dog. Lol

    Good luck pal😁

2 weeks from sprouting tomorrow and all looking fine.

I've started the LST tonight - anchor in place and a gentle first bend.

She's very squat (as hoped) and it's a bit like fitting the canopy on an Airfix Spitfire - fiddly, necessary and you always end up with sticky fingers.

    Pics in the morrow.
