    Default over watering?

My seedlings where doing fine until one of them started drooping and growing very slowly and improperly in new parts, i planted into 25l pot from seed, first time, i know your meant to pot up, lesson learnt for next time, basically if someone can have a look at tell me if what i think is going on is right, i think i have over watered them as there is drooping and sort of crinkly lines appearing on some leafs, i was watering small amounts often and decided to try 1 litre of water on a longer period, i left it for 3 days and still was very wet so im pretty sure its over watering, im using 24 hour evap water, no nutes no nothing, and ph the water to 6.8 from 8.5 after 24 hr evap using canna organic ph down, and im letting it settle for a while before using it and making sure its 6.8, I put my hand into the soil and it also seemed very clumped together which i have read about happens with small plants big pots and giving the big amount of water at one time etc, i am currently just letting it dry out but i have also as to say *fluffed* the soil as best as i can without damaging the plant as i read about the clumpy wet spots in soil keep oxygen out, should i just go down a shop and get some pots and put in a appropriate pot now or will that be too stressful or should i continue and just let dry out then water less each time? also does this look like over watering? because the leaves are slightly curly aswell which ive read is under watering. any help greatly appreciated.

i no alot people will say dont adjust, i agree as i say this to others also, but if your tap water is really that high to the point of nearly 9ph then bringin it down a little wont do any harm if you can do it organically.

you only need to water a very small cirlcle area around the plant dont go drenchin the whole 25ltr pot, potting up would have save you alot messing round buddy but it is what it is mate. about 200ml of water shud be enough at min. the longer it drenched the longer it will go without having fresh oxy supplied.

hows the temps an rh also? led light?

Temps are stable 20-21 degree c , rh is around 55 day, 50 night, so its over watering then? too late to put into pot now? and gotcha 200ml per plant next time

that temp is bit to low, you want it toastin this will help dry the pots up faster to, thats problem you have will led in winter i would add bit oil rad in there or take one led out and stick a hps bulb in there for a nice led/hps combo.

whats the light distance from to of plant to the led?

Carefully dig them out and put them in smaller pots. Make sure you run your fingers through the new compost you use to break it up. Be careful not to break the roots when lifting and re-potting. You'll be able to water them correctly then and not have to worry. TBH, they don't look bad at all, but if they run into dry spots in the soil or you overwater then you'll get problems, and it easy to hit those problems with small plants in big pots if you don't fully know the ins and outs of growing yet

trust me mate they like its toastin in veg bro. these plants grow in hotter climates outdoor.

i wudnt dig them up either mate you will end up damaging the roots causing stress and stunting growth.

thing is mate you say you wana keep leccy low but those leds draw 269w each your runnin 2 them so thats just under 600w. and those two combined arent better than a 600w hps probs not better than a 400w hps imo.

They are tropical plants eh , as long as theres air movement and not too intense light on the tops ,they can handle 35+ temps , just as long the root zone is kept under 23°+/- .

Overwatering is the most common thing , even i do occasionally it after 20 years of growin lol ...

At this point youll want 60% humidity and a temp of 25-30° ,all depending ,sweet spot usually like 27° with good air movement but not a constant fan hitting , oscilating fans are perfect .

Right, i havent watered again and the pots are still quite wet bottom half down but have dried up abit, i have raised temp to 24c and humidity to around 60-60, i realise now i made another noob mistake and i didnt put any clay pebbles or drainage at bottom of my pot before adding soil, i have now put them ontop of some big pebbles in trays tho in hope this will help, 1 of the plants is doing quite badly, the others have started drooping a bit on there bay leaves, also some discoloration, i will put some pics, is this just where the pots are still wet? the bay leaves have gone a tad dry ish on the tips but im thinking that it still doesnt need watering yetClick image for larger version.
