Default hydrolab tent riddled with pinholes

Complete newb here, bought a hydrolab tent after a recommendation here + all the forums keep singing it's praises.

Just set it up and can see from the outside that it's covered in pinholes.

Along the bottom of the vent holes (that i've not once uncovered), along zips, seams, and then just random little holes here and there in the main body.

From the outside in a dark room, it looks pretty, like an airport landing strip, but, (and I know i'm a newb), I'm pretty sure that's not what we're trying to achieve with these tents.

Luckily I'm doing autos this time round so I believe it's not a major issue.
I don't fancy sticking bits of tape inside my new tent just to cover these up.

Just thought I'd offer the information in case it's useful for others.

    Peace!

my hydrolab veg tent has been up for a very long time, has outlasted 2 other flowering tents,
no pinholes, no light leaks i check regular,

i did buy mine direct from the hydrolab website,

my honest advice, return it and get another tent,
there shouldn't be any pinholes in a new tent, especially a hydrolab tent

my darkstreet and darkroom are half the quality of my hydrolab, so return yours because something is definitely not right,

Thanks for the tip. Problem is I need to continue using it at the mo. I bought directly from them too... will contact them and see if something can be worked out.

mine has been up since 2014, it's still like brand new and hydrolab branded,
honestly there shouldn't be a single pinhole in it never mind dotted with them,

my diamond mylar lining must be 1mm thick never mind the outter skin and double pockets/stitching,

That's a bit annoying mate. Lol. Mine is exactly like yours bought directly from them. Hopefully they've got good customer service - will let you know what they say.

Just an update for anyone interested: I spoke to someone at HL and he sounded just as surprised himself. He has sent out a whole new tent, even though I insisted that I only need a new cover. Fantastic customer service there - if there's any holes in the replacement then I'd feel terrible complaining again but hopefully this will be in the perfect condition you'd expect. Happy now

I have to disagree lol well almost. I agree the material is a lot thicker and poles you can feel are stronger. My issue though is I found the zips pretty shit to be honest. I prefer my darkroom tent purely for that reason. On the hydrogen the zip has got caught in the material behind it if that makes sense. I wouldn't buy hydrolab again personally.

Love my hydrolab. No problems here apart from the pin hole I accidentally put in myself like a spanner.

I have noticed this too. As my first tent, I didn't know if it's normal or not. But the zips do catch.
If I keep on stressing about everything I've paid for, I'll lose all my hair before any meds are ready...! Live, learn, shove bitterness to back of mind.
