Been meaning to run 300w prakasa with hps but just aint got round to buyin it, had to much other shit to buy.

Ideally i wud like to run led through the summer,but the panels i had me eye on i wud need about 3 for my tent an it wud set me bak over 1k..

Ive spent the last 4 months in contact with makers in the US , Europe

who have all kindly replied to my random questions.



There’s ONLY acouple of brands worth considering if you really want to replace a 1000w HPS but sadly your looking at

£1500 so that’s the price of ( 3 Gavita pro 1000w ) OR ( 1 Gavita pro 1000w + 1 Gavita pro 270 Plasma )

The two LED brands / makes are

Spectrum King SK 600

Heliospectra LX601C


In regards to the ludicrous price of these light boxes , the prices won’t change considerably in the near future

Until the LED’s makers CREE lowers there prices and as they have no competition , it could be along wait.

I know guys pulling crazy yields of stunning bud using $100 50w real draw cobs. Yes they cost more, but when you are pulling 3 or more grams per watt results from new tech are pretty astonishing, especially compared to power consumption rates today!!

I run autos under 3 cheap old tech 100X3w leds and pull some really fantastic weed out of a 56"X16"deep X36" tall cabinet. Pulling close to a gram a watt on the average. Not too bad at all for $70 lights(have 3 running running 440 real draw)
