Default LED veg and bloom settings

    Morning all,

I have a Viparspectra led light that has separate switches for veg and bloom. I was just wondering if there is any benefit in having both switched on (in a the more light the better way of thinking) or if the plants won't use any of the additional light due it it being the wrong colour and it just being a waste of electricity?

    Cheers

    Hello all
what I would like to know is how far do you have your lights away from your plants when you have both of switches on. and why would you want to run both switches? like why put the veg on while plant is in the flower stage?

When you're flowering you want as many watts as possible. You shouldn't think of the LEDs lights as having 2 switches, think of just a flower switch.

Veg requires less watts hence turn flower off

When all lights are on its balanced for flower. When just veg, you've got a blue bias

    I'm using Mars
    12-18" flower
    18-24 veg
    24-30 seedling
