    Default Gas Saftey Inspection

    Just to confirm with anyone who has had this done.

    Do they just check the boiler, cooker and fireplace (if there GAS of course)?

    I just dont want them having a reason to go upsatirs

    It should be fine if there’s no heating controls upstairs, my boiler switch and heating timer is in my airing cupboard upstairs I just leave everything on to save him looking about to turn heating on

    Hopefully he don’t need to use the toilet

    Gas safety checks only involve meter, boiler and appliances

    if the flue terminates through the loft then they should inspect the joints/flue terminal. in that case they would need access to the loft.
