Curing in mason jars

Hi group just wondering if someone can help me out just done my first harvest of two white skunks I cut all the stems off and hang dried for 6 days at about 17c and 56% rh so I have taken them down and been opening jars up every 12hrs and leaving them open for 30mins each day

I've put a rh reader in one of the mason jars its reading 70% is this to high for day 2?

Yeah, that's a little high

I would take it all out & dry it for an extra day & put it back in the jars

Jimmy I tried using those crystal packs that absorb the dampnist. They work great in mason jars. Put them in the jars and only had to burp one time and never looked back. Just another way to do things.

I did think to buy some of them but never got round to getting any and will be Abit late to order them now so I've put them in a dry rack inside my tent for another day will re jar them tmZ hopefully they Will be better then

6 days is real quick, 7-10 is my normal,
being a little dry is better than still damp,

when they smell less 'green' they are definitely drying better

Yes mate they first feel dry but it's like the buds have gone abit Airy so Defo need a little longer , back on dry rack for another day

Will pop them back in jars later on and watch the rh I have just got 4 small round rh readers to drop in jars so that should help abit more to see how far we are away

i dont mind puttin mine in jars at 70odd, am little over cautious when it come to jaring,

i just fill them up after 5-6days of hanging, then is rh high like 70odd etc is just empty them all out on to cardboard or paper leave for another 12-24 hours, jar back up recheck an if still same repeat the process.
Most i have done it is twice then if am around 65% then that great i just start the burping process nice an slowly till i get around the 60-62% mark

Yea man they was 71% took out out back in dry tents in dark tent for 24hrs Gonna jar up again and check rh in a few hours dude
