    Default Brown tips

So the first time i tried growing i managed to get 2 sets of leaves then it all went down hill. Leaves started to canoe, then turn yellow then brown and crispy. Temps were all ok, light werent too close and i couldnt figure where id gone wrong.

Ive since set 2 more going and come to think maybe it happened because my fan was infront of the radiator so possibly cooked them by blowing hot air straight at them.

Now im 11 days in and theres no obvious canoeing or yellowing, yet on the 1st set of leaves the tips have gone brown.

Temps have varied from 24 to 30 lights on, seem to be more towards upper end though.

Humidity is anywhere between 30 and 50ish.

    Any suggestions? Cheers

No your good, shes just burning as she adjust.... your in soil, so your nutrient level is kind of fixed, without a flush. Without any other information, you just need to be patient. THe new growth looks nice and lush and healthy, and at this stage this is what you need to be going off of. Give them some time to find their feet in the soil, and they will be fine.

Im using Canna Terra Pro mate and ive never PH'd as always read its not needed in soil?

How would i go about measuring? Would i measure water after sitting for 24hr once ive added the rhiz? Not getting any run off with watering atm...

2nd plant has also started to do the same thing on the 1st serated leaves

How would i go about measuring the soil PH?

And for future use, is there a way to 'cool' it down a little? Or is it just a case of using a different soil then potting up to the Canna?
