Thread: Designing my G-Room, help needed.

    Yeah I'm gonna get a 250w and possibly incorporate a cool tube if temps require it. I will have to cut cool tube sized holes at bothe sides and slide it in through the holes if that makes sense? Hopefully it won't come to that if I'm using a 250. I would prefer the unit to be self contained.

    I agree with M_C, 600 is way to big for what your planning.

    If you did go the cool tube route you can get away with one hole.
    Filter>ducting>cooltube> ducting>fan>leading to hole for extraction.

    I've had this set up before and it works well.

    Just have to give the cooltube a clean once a month, but that goes for any hood/ tube or whatever you use.

    That set up has been and gone mate, the cool tube burned out and I'm back using a standard reflector.
    The grow shop sold me a black orchid cool hood and I didn't rate it, so it's collecting dust.
    But i will be getting another cool hood/tube nearer the summer if I need one.
