    Default Stealth window extraction

    Hello talkers

Can anyone help me out with this? I'm trying to workout how I can run extraction through the window below. I have done a basic diagram to show from the outside but will come back with pics when I can.

I have found some make shift options on the net but wondered if anyone had any better ideas.

Thinking something like the bottom pic however it would need to be solid.
    Cheers

I’d be getting a new peace of glass cut with a hole to suit your ducting and simply putting a Louvre grill over the hole and on the inside I’d build a box out of ply wood covering the complete window

Was gonna say build a box for window.failing the you could run ducting to the door of the seller door leading into house and cut hole in the door and have extraction going into house.just cover hole in door with a poster or something

I think the box idea is the most viable, i am going to run the air in from the cellar door so will need to blow out of the window. I might remove the glass altogether, black up and board up the window with a louvre in it and stick the fan in a sound proof box.

Are there any tutorials to the box making on here? i have had a look but cant seem to see anything.

Yes, well something similar anyway. I have a large space to grow in, it's just the extraction fan that will need boxing and connecting to the window which will be removed as the frame is rotten.

If you are removing the window all together. Then I would suggest fitting air bricks and then it’s 100% stealth and would just look like most houses just like that 🇬🇧

Now that's the idea I've been looking for BG!!

Couple air bricks and a bit of gobbo over the weekend will do the trick!
