Beth tried a similar project but failed due to high humidity. I would check the humidity you have in the room before moving forward & spending money....

I have dehumidifiers for flower and humidifiers for veg if needed. Realistically what do we need to see RH wise for this to be good to go?

If I remember correct the readings were late 60s yesterday but that was as the paint was drying and after we scrubbed the cellar. It will change again when I get the lights up.

Here is Beth's attempt... however, I just realised it was more an airflow issue that she had... https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-foru...-groom-project

I think Beth’s room needed tanking out properly and would have cost a fortune. I think she was fighting the natural corse of the water table. A dam shame as she put so much work into it ☹️🇬🇧

So I've bricked it up with some blocks and an air brick, insulated the void and stuck a plaster board over the hole which I'm going to cut out a hole for the ductin.
    Rh dropped to 62% 😁
    Happy days

Pretty much just a good tidy up and some medium away from a dairy. I'm hopeful I can get going within 7 days.

    Temps around 18/20° & RH 60%
