Default Answered: Taking your bud to the next level.

So, being in the US, the bud that has been thrown around in the last couple of years has been great. Some of this medical shit that comes out of Colorado or Cali, is superior to the stuff that was around before the flood, which began about 10 years ago. Looking back at my grows, I notice that I have not hit this level of quality but on a few of my grows. I thought I would throw it out there to the ones that have been growing for years, what in your opinion is the most important aspect of the grow, to create the best fruit bearing plants. Now I understand there are many variables to this but as growers, what do you feel is the biggest factor for highest quality with best yeild?. I am in pursuit of maximizing yield and quality, and although I feel I can grow a decent plant or 2 I want to see where you guys focus.

For me personally I would have to say it is the overall health of the plant before stretch. The plants health at this point, will almost always directly affect the bud, and always seems to be a factor in final product.

Once your environment is dialled in then it’s all about genetics for me.
Going to the effort of finding the right phenotype and cultivating it will push you from 7/10 to 10/10.
It’s not easy though, you can easily pop 10 seeds and not get a good one.
