To answer my own question, turns out it's recessive so when crossing a photo period with an autoflower it becomes a diverse mess that needs further refinement so not something recommended for people that want predictability in their seeds.

    From wiki:
Creating true autoflowering seed from two quality, true breeding autoflowering parent plants is easy for most.[9] Breeding new autoflowering strains becomes more difficult when attempting to make a hybrid with a non-autoflowering strain. Some photoperiod/short-day cannabis strains are heterogeneous - containing the recessive day-neutral or autoflowering genetics along with the dominant short-day genetics. However a proper list of such strains is not yet available so most breeders treat all short- day plants as homozygous dominant.

A true autoflower is homozygous recessive[10] for the day neutral genetics. Therefore, most crosses between classical photoperiod/short-day strains and autoflowers produce few or no autoflower progeny in the F1 generation. Regardless of whether the F1 generation produces autoflowering plants, the higher performing and similar plants need to be recrossed. This F2 generation will contain approximately 25% of homozygous recessive plants which are autoflowering. Still the few autoflowers produced are not always stable and may require further stabilization. Further complexities with stabilizing autoflowers has previously led to non autoflowering and low quality strains making it into the market.

Autoflowering Cannabis Seeds are already on the market, but in the last few years the popularity of autoflowering seeds has skyrocketed and are on the commercial market.[11] Many growers have marketed their own autoflowering cannabis seeds, which are mostly indica/sativa hybrids containing a small part Lowryder #1 and/or Lowryder #2 genetics, in order to keep the autoflowering properties. One type contains more Lowryder #1/#2 than the other.

Autoflower Marijuana seeds are available in many genetics[12]

I'm sorry to you guys that posted in this thread and got no reply. Belatedly Cleargreen you're right the auto gene is recessive. Better to breed auto with auto for continuation of auto genes.

I have another question, I read somewhere that it would be better to force a female grown from regular seeds to produce male pollen than one that came from already feminized seeds as the latter would somehow increase the chance of hermies in the offspring.
What is your thought on this Zen? Is there truth to this or might that be misinformation put out there by seed companies to discourage people from doing what you did which was essentially making a shitload of copies from something they've worked hard to create?

Many people have now grown your Cinderella Jock, did anyone get hermies?

Did you collect any data from all the people that grew out your seeds?
Time from seed to harvest for example, average, shortest and longest?

@zen archer I made some CS last night but it doesn't look all that great, it seems like a lot of silver precipitated at the bottom. I used a 22v wall charger with 818mA and had it on some silver coins for 5 hours.
I'm guessing the distilled water I used wasn't the best, I don't have a TDS meter here to check the water before starting out.
You reckon the stuff might still be good enough to use for this purpose?
Also can you do this if the plant is already in flower?

    @zen archer
Just wanted to pop in here and say that my wife, my sister and our one couple friend all agree that your strain tastes better than anything they have tasted before. Cheers.

Since Zen appears to be away I am going to add my opinion.

When I was growing this strain my plants showed balls early on. The balls grew hairs and turned into females. Recorded with photos on this forum. Unless given a chance to fully develop, any reports of early balls are not useful.

I do not recall seeing any actual hermies on this forums grow off or on any of the other grows I found with a quick search.

If I missed one or two they probably don't count. Too many factors to cause nanners. The strain appears to be solid. I have another pack I got for a comp win and I look forward to growing it as soon as I have some space.

    Thanks CityDweller
I'm looking forward to grow some Cindy's as well but it will have to wait till winter when the extra heat from having the lights on longer will be very welcome.

Totally agree with you guys the Cindy is a cracking smoke and the nugs are so dense and solid packed with sugar, it's excellent for the wife's med's too, it would be great if some day they were made available for sale maybe through a seed company or Zen himself i would camp out to be at the front of the queue to but some, i have 3 Cindy beans left from a comp win and i'm saving them until i properly get the hang of growing auto's, Mon the Cindy Jocks, Mon Zen Archer

    11???? You lucky sh*t

Love this smoke! Kinda has a weird smell even after sitting in the jars for a couple months but the effect is awesome.

I've got 1 bean left and will be growing it this winter when the temps drop. My first one survived temps up to 35C during the hot aussie summer and she didn't have any troubles with it. Gonna see what she can do with 25-28C temps soon
