Yh my viperspectra is loud like really pissing loud. That's my only downside to them. I'll see hoebthis Carries through my first grow. I may switch depending onnadvices given and cost. I want to move to hydro at some point as well and I'm sure less are better because of the reduces heat on the tanks etc. I wouldn't like to boil roots into mush

Cheap and easy to replace the fans with silent ones in led lights.

Yeah the internal fan. Ive seen threads on here talking about which are suitable replacements.

It's easy enough to do. I'm no electronics expert but I changed them in my DS200 a couple years ago. The wiring's straightforward. Just find a couple of silent pc fans (usually 120mm). Mine's so quiet now you wouldn't know it on (other than the fairy lights obviously!
