Default Is this heater set up safe?? I’m worried :(

Hi guys been having nightmares with heaters and humidity and discovered that my tube heater is no longer working! I’m in flower and have replaced it with this oil heater for now to keep temps up, it is sitting on its side as is in the pics, right between my two Wilma tanks beneath the canopy, how safe is this? Does anyone else run anything similar? I know it’s a lot more powerful than my old tube heater at 1500 watts even if I’m only running it at the 500 watt setting, it’s wired into my technics so shouldn’t be on constantly during lights out, any help deeply appreciated guys!! Thanks

i think they are meant to be level on the floor, because the heating element is at the bottom and could burn out, but its up to you

Isn't it recommended to NOT use a rad with the technics? Takes too long to heat etc. Apparently fan heater is better? Just what I've read...

I was told that electric fan heaters are the least safe method, yes better results but the oil one is working fine sideways for now anyway

Sorry to jump on the thread but I've a similar situation...

I have one of those 2 foot bar oil heaters, a single tube heater thing, and its not coming close to cutting the mustard. I can see why a fan heater is quicker but they seem dangerous in a small room with the odd dead leave lying around - is that what most people use? I suppose it would ensure I keep a super clean and well maintained grow room but would be paranoid when having to go away for a long weekend etc.

The other option is a larger oil burner like the OPs - but whats the norm here, what are most people using etc?

    Thanks people
