    Default Electricity usage.

    The wife put the numbers from the meteres into our energy providers website today, to find, since putting my tent up ( standard 1.2x1.2x2m setup) my usage has pretty much doubled.

    That seems like a lot, what kind of energy consumption are you guys on? Like, what's the difference between your usage when your groom is running, compared to when it isn't? ( I don't mean lights off, I mean no grow on at all)

    I get my bill in every 3 months and its went from 170 to 270 so its not too bad

    I just got a estimated bill and it was like £379 for a month and I shit myself but I’m waiting for them to come and fit a pay as you go meter,
    I’m not even to sure how to read the figures properly I only really know when I go by the key meter.

    1000w on for an hour=1KWH=17p approx depending on your supplier, 18 hours a day 0.17x18=£3.06 per day / £21.42 per week / £85.68 per 28 days for an average groom

    My 600w hps cost only 1 pound extra a day to the normal usage. Thought would be more but happy days

    When my oil heater has been on during winter months,price seems to rise up a lot more
    Roll on the warmer months ahead ☀️
