You could try a fan controller to slow the airflow and get accoustic ducting mate

I have acoustic ducting and my fans are 2 speed and set on low. M9st the noise comes from the carbon filter. Would filling it with baffling help? Also any other tips would be great.

Also the less bends and the straighter you have the duct reduces wind travel noise...silencers arnt expensive if you have the room

Increase the size of the ducting, if you have a 5" fan get 6" or 8" ducting, will decrease turbulence making less noise

Is your fan connected straight to the filter ?

If it is id have filter then acoustic ducting then fan and then more acoustic ducting, if you want to try get it down even more and have the space stick a silencer in there.

I'm having the same issue. I tried a cheap fan controller and it broke the fan. Others have highly recommended a variac controlder. I'm using a small tent so even low speed on the rhino was too much. Now waiting on a black Orchid axial to turn up. Its way less powerful so hoping it's quieter. I also read about phonotrap ducting. Supposed to be better than acoustic or insulated so have high hopes. I'm also using reducers with it so ordered 5" ducting for 4" fan and CF. Shold slow down the whoosh noise. Hanging the fan on bungees within a padded box will help if the fans loud... tho I found it was the air speed causing my issues. Hope you got your setup sorted. Let me know if anything worked particularly well

I’ve always wondered if the proper metal ducting might help with this?
