this depends on how much space you have to veg them in the longer you veg the bigger the plant just remember when you flip to 12/12 the plant will still grow at least double its size before harvest and depending on your light your canopy needs to be a specific distance away to avoid heat burn which all determines when you want to flip into flower.

plants wont tell you, you decide. The longer they stay in veg the bigger they get. Most plants are mature at about 20-30 days, so any time around there is good. You can go 12/12 from seed also, you just dont yield the most.
