quick question on transplant!

i recently transplanted my girls from solo cups into 1 gallon pots, i watered them when i transplanted which was 6 days ago now how long would you say i should wait till i water them again just seems to be taken along time to dry out i figure because the roots need to grow in to the pot to reach the water but i just want to make sure i shouldn't be keeping the top wet or something?????

Just water until you have run off.... then wait till the first 1” of soil is dry. U can’t go off day u have to go off the plant. Most of us water till run off, and let them dry out till the pot is nice and light and water again. Usually for me it’s about 4 days but that’s my environment and set up not urs.
