gnat problems in soil i seemed to fix but is this method ok???

i was told using un scented soup with your watering will kill the gnats i have tried this and it did seem to work but my question is will doing this method harm my plant in anyway it doesnt seem to show any signs but i love opinions???

IDK if i would want to be smoking dial soap..... get you a couple of them yellow sticky papers. set up a couple of those amongst the plants and gnat problem solved.

i only did this one time with one watering do you think i will notice it in my smoke???? im two hf weeks from harvest

no u wont notice shit and in reality im sure it is harmless. It was more of a joke then anything. But ya I wouldnt continue doing that especially this late in the game. Like I said get you some yellow sticky paper, problem solved in no time. I always have em around during a grow, even when they arent there the paper will pick up the random one here or there.
